Emmanuel Macron responds to Trump’s remarks, labeling them inappropriate and not deserving of a reply.

During his official visit to South Korea, French President Emmanuel Macron criticized comments made by his American counterpart Donald Trump, asserting they were “inappropriate and not at the required level,” and emphasized that they did not warrant a response.

Macron expressed his disapproval of Trump’s remarks concerning his wife on the first day of his visit.

Trump had made controversial statements suggesting that Macron was “being mistreated by his wife,” referencing a previously circulated video that allegedly depicted an incident during a visit to Vietnam—a narrative that Macron has previously denied, calling it part of a misinformation campaign.
