On Saturday, Essaouira hosted an event dedicated to fostering a culture of peace among youth, emphasizing dialogue, mutual respect, and coexistence. Organized by the Yalla Mogador Association under the theme “Youth at the Heart of Essaouira: A Catalyst for Cultural Diplomacy,” the gathering highlighted the city’s rich multicultural heritage while promoting civic engagement through art and culture.

Ending the day on a celebratory note, the participants engaged in a symbolic march that connected the old city with Essaouira’s beach. Benedict Tailyou Coutensou, a member of the organizing association, underscored the importance of active youth involvement in building a cultural project led by the younger generation.
