Casablanca Hosts Fashion and Textile Celebration: Over 550 Exhibitors at the 11th Edition of “Morocco Fashion Style & Tex”

Casablanca is set to host a major international event in the textile and fashion industry, the 11th edition of the “Morocco Fashion Style & Tex” fair, taking place from April 2 to April 5 at the Exhibition and Conference Center in Casablanca. Over 550 exhibitors are expected, along with nearly 14,000 professional visitors from inside Morocco and abroad.

This professional event, organized by the Pyramids Group, reaffirms its position as a global platform uniting various players in the textile sector, including manufacturers, suppliers, designers, buyers, and distributors, in a single space that fosters expertise exchange and collaboration opportunities. The fair covers different components of the production chain, from shirts and accessories to industrial machinery, as well as leather products and home textiles.

The scale of international participation in this edition reflects the dynamism of the sector, especially with professionals and institutions from several countries in attendance, supported by diplomatic representations from Brazil, Indonesia, Pakistan, and Bangladesh, alongside key Moroccan institutions such as the Casablanca-Settat Chamber of Commerce, Industry, and Services and the Italian Chamber of Commerce in Morocco. This enhances the strategic dimension of the event regarding economic partnerships.

The fair is not only focused on commercial aspects but also aims to enhance discussions about sector transformations through organizing B2B business meetings, seminars, and workshops addressing challenges related to innovation and competitiveness in a global context characterized by reshaping production chains and changing consumption patterns.

On the creative side, the event dedicates significant space to fashion shows, with presentations spanning two days that highlight the creations of Moroccan designers and promising young talents, aiming to support emerging skills and strengthen their market presence. The program also includes a tribute to the works of renowned designer Yves Saint Laurent and a collective showcase featuring international designers and training institutions in a collaborative project reflecting the convergence of expertise.

The organization of this event confirms Morocco’s ongoing efforts to strengthen its position on the global textile map, particularly amidst challenges related to technological transitions and the need to enhance the competitiveness of national production. The exhibition is expected to provide a new opportunity to strengthen ties among stakeholders and anticipate the sector’s future in a changing international economic context, solidifying Casablanca’s position as a pivotal hub for professional meetings in the fields of textiles and fashion.
