A French ship crosses the Strait of Hormuz
A container ship belonging to the CMA CGM Group has crossed the Strait of Hormuz on its departure from the Gulf region, according to maritime tracking data that indicated it was “French-owned.”
The information revealed that the ship “Kribi,” flying the Maltese flag, crossed the strait from west to east before continuing its voyage off the coast of Oman without a specified final destination.
These movements come in the context of active maritime traffic through this vital waterway, which is considered one of the most important strategic passages in the world for energy and goods transportation.
