The Shuwaikh Port in Kuwait was targeted in a drone attack early Friday, with no reported injuries, according to official sources.

The Kuwait Ports Authority stated in a message posted on X that its port was attacked with what it described as “hostile” drones, noting that initial assessments indicated only material damages.

The authority confirmed that emergency protocols were activated, in coordination with relevant agencies, to ensure control of the situation and secure the area.

Shuwaikh Port, located on the western coast of Kuwait City, is one of the oldest and most important commercial ports in Kuwait, situated in the Shuwaikh industrial area. It features several docks and is primarily used for handling cargo and general shipments, making it a vital hub for trade in the country.
