Casablanca Stock Exchange Opens Trading on Friday with MASI Up by 1.68%

The Casablanca Stock Exchange commenced its trading on Friday with a notable increase, as its main index, MASI, rose by 1.68%, settling at 17,643.23 points.

In contrast, the MASI.20 index, representing the performance of the 20 largest listed companies, recorded a gain of 2.06%, reaching 1,343.19 points. Meanwhile, the MASI.ESG index, which includes companies with the best ratings, advanced by 1.51% to 1,198.48 points.

The MASI Mid and Small Cap index, reflecting the performance of small and medium-sized enterprises, increased by 1.65%, reaching 1,817.82 points.

Yesterday, the MASI index closed with gains of 4.18%, continuing the positive trend in the markets throughout this week.
