International Moroccan player Nail El Aynaoui spent terrifying hours inside his home in the Italian capital, Rome, after he and his family fell victim to an armed invasion carried out by masked men late at night.
The incident, which received widespread attention in European media, occurred when several attackers managed to sneak into the player’s residence by breaking a window, before surprising those inside and placing them under direct threat.
According to circulating information, El Aynaoui and his family members were forced to remain in one room while the gang members searched the house for valuable possessions, taking advantage of the chaos caused by the sudden intrusion.
During the operation, the attackers seized several valuable items, including jewelry and luxury watches, before quickly fleeing the scene without causing any physical harm to the victims.
Italian authorities launched an investigation immediately after receiving the report, dispatching security teams to the scene to gather evidence and review surveillance footage in an attempt to identify the perpetrators and track their escape route.
