This congratulation, delivered by Lekjaa on his own behalf and on behalf of the members of the federation’s board, celebrates the remarkable journey that the national football representative has undertaken in this prestigious African competition.
The military team secured their place in the semi-finals after achieving a valuable victory with a score of 2-1 in the second leg match held on Saturday, March 21, 2026, at the Air Defense Stadium in Cairo.
It is noteworthy that this qualification crowned the team’s efforts across both matches, as the Royal Army Club had previously settled for a 1-1 draw in the first leg held at the Olympic Stadium in Rabat the week before.
