Casablanca Stock Exchange Starts the Week on an Uptrend
The Casablanca Stock Exchange commenced trading today, Monday, with a rise in its indices, as its main index, the MAZBI, increased by 0.96% to reach 17,017.11 points.
The MASI.20 index, which reflects the performance of 20 listed companies, also rose by 1.18% to 1,300.85 points, while the MASI.ESG index, dedicated to companies with the best ratings, saw an increase of 1.42% to 1,178.12 points.
As for the MASI Mid and Small Cap index, which indicates the performance of small and medium enterprises, it recorded a slight gain of 0.01%, reaching 1,708.3 points. The MAZBI index concluded last Friday’s trading with a loss of 1.76%.
