The Royal Moroccan Football Federation officially put an end to speculation regarding the departure of national coach Walid Regragui from his position, confirming that the contractual relationship between the two parties remains intact.

In a brief statement issued on February 24, 2026, the federation categorically denied the rumors surrounding Regragui’s departure, asserting that such claims are unfounded.

Over the past few hours, digital platforms and social media pages circulated information suggesting that Regragui’s tenure with the “Atlas Lions” was nearing its end, which raised questions about the future of the national team’s coaching staff. The federation’s clarification has now resolved the controversy.

The Moroccan national team continues its preparations for upcoming challenges as per the established program, with Regragui remaining at the helm of the technical management. Fans are eagerly awaiting what the next phase will bring.
