According to the statement, this call is part of ongoing follow-up regarding the developments of the incident and to ensure the situation is stable, in light of the escalating tensions in the region.
The contact reflects, according to the same source, the strong relations between Rabat and Riyadh and affirms the level of coordination and consultation existing between the leaderships of both countries regarding regional issues of mutual interest.
