The Prime Minister, Aziz Akhannouch, Represents King Mohammed VI at the 39th African Union Summit in Addis Ababa.

The Head of Government, Aziz Akhannouch, arrived today, Friday, in the Ethiopian capital, Addis Ababa, to represent His Majesty King Mohammed VI at the 39th Summit of African Heads of State and Government.

Upon his arrival at Bole International Airport, he was welcomed by the Ethiopian Minister of Peace, Mohamed Idris, and the State Minister for Foreign Affairs, Berhanu Tsegaye, along with the ambassador and permanent representative of the Kingdom to the African Union and the Economic Commission for Africa, Mohamed Aroshi, and several other official figures.

The summit will take place on February 14 and 15, under the theme “Ensuring Sustainable Availability of Water and Safe Sanitation Systems to Achieve the Goals of Agenda 2063,” where it will address several key issues related to sustainable development and water resource management in Africa.
