Mohammedia Approves Human Development Program for 2026 with Budget Exceeding 18.4 Million Dirhams
The regional committee for human development in the Mohammedia region has approved the work program for 2026, allocating a budget exceeding 18.4 million dirhams. This decision was made during a meeting held at the regional council’s headquarters, presided over by the governor, Adel Malaki.
The meeting was focused on studying and approving the action plan of the National Initiative for Human Development within the region’s jurisdiction, as part of its four pillars for the current year.
Regarding the second program, aimed at supporting vulnerable individuals, projects were approved to enhance the economic empowerment of women in difficult situations, support the care of children in need, as well as improve semi-medical services for individuals with disabilities, along with the purchase and equipping of specialized buses. The financial allocation for this program is 3.6 million dirhams, fully funded by the National Initiative for Human Development.
The third program, related to improving income and economic integration for youth, includes projects that support entrepreneurship and the social solidarity economy, the establishment of mobile spaces for showcasing local products, and completing the development and equipping of the “Mabrouka” Human Development Center in Beni Yakhlef. This program has been allocated 5.35 million dirhams, funded by the National Initiative for Human Development.
As for the fourth program aimed at advancing human development for emerging generations, the projects include supporting preschool education in rural areas, contributing to schooling, improving children’s and youth’s upbringing conditions, and promoting maternal and child health. This program has an allocated budget of approximately 9.5 million dirhams, covered by the National Initiative for Human Development.
The meeting also featured a presentation on the guiding memorandum for implementing the National Initiative for Human Development programs for the year 2026, alongside an overview of the framework agreement related to enhancing educational support services in rural areas.
