King Mohammed VI Congratulates Mohamed Choukri on His Election as President of the National Rally of Independents
King Mohammed VI sent a congratulatory message to Mohamed Choukri on the occasion of his election as President of the National Rally of Independents during its extraordinary conference.
In the message, the King stated: “Following your election as President of the National Rally of Independents, we are pleased to express our warm congratulations, along with our wishes for your complete success in your new leadership role.”
The King added that Choukri’s selection as party president reflects the trust he has earned from the party’s members and reflects their appreciation for his virtues, national commitment, and experience in both administrative and professional fields. He affirmed that this equips him to advance the party’s performance and to collaborate with other political parties in serving the public interest and defending the interests of the nation and its citizens, while upholding the principles and sanctities of the country.
The King emphasized his appreciation for Choukri’s predecessor, Aziz Akhannouch, “for the efforts he made, characterized by a spirit of responsibility and genuine patriotism, to consolidate and enhance the political presence of the party.”
The King concluded his message by urging Mohamed Choukri to convey to the party’s members, both leaders and bases, “our generous affection and highest regard, hoping that God will inspire you with success and assist you in carrying out your party responsibilities in elevating political work and prioritizing the interests of the Moroccan nation above all else.”
