Barada announces the expansion of leadership schools to 80% and the reduction of overcrowding in middle schools to 36 students per class.

Mohamed Saad Barada, the Minister of National Education, Preschool, and Sports, announced the decision to expand the “Schools of Leadership” model to include approximately 80% of educational institutions. This initiative is part of efforts aimed at improving the quality of learning and enhancing the educational system’s performance.

The government official explained that this approach falls within a comprehensive reform program targeting the enhancement of educational efficiency and the development of teaching methods. This is intended to improve students’ academic achievement and reduce educational disparities.

In a related context, Barada confirmed that the ministry is working to address the issue of overcrowding in educational institutions, noting that future classes in intermediate education will not exceed 36 students per classroom.

This measure is part of a plan to improve learning conditions and provide a more suitable educational environment, allowing for greater interaction between teachers and learners, thus contributing to the enhancement of the teaching process.

The minister pointed out that these measures will be implemented gradually, with the mobilization of necessary human resources and infrastructure to ensure the success of the public school reform initiative.

Through the expansion of “Schools of Leadership” and the reduction of overcrowding, the Ministry of National Education aims to establish an educational model based on quality, equity, and equal opportunities, which meets the expectations of families and contributes to the development of human capital.
