The General Directorate of Taxes has announced an investment of 5 million dirhams in the development of advanced technical systems and solutions aimed at protecting sensitive data of Moroccans and preventing any potential leaks.

This decision comes as part of the Directorate’s strategy to enhance digital security and ensure the privacy of taxpayers’ information, thereby boosting confidence in electronic services and keeping pace with rapid technological advancements.

The investments include the adoption of modern encryption technologies, breach monitoring, and risk management, along with training specialized human resources in the field of cybersecurity.

The Directorate emphasized that this initiative is part of ongoing efforts to secure data and protect the digital rights of Moroccans, ensuring the efficient and secure conduct of tax operations.
