The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has firmly condemned the unacceptable behavior of some players and officials during the TotalEnergies Africa Cup of Nations 2025 final, which took place between the Moroccan and Senegalese teams last night in Rabat.
In an official statement, the federation emphasized that any inappropriate conduct, especially directed towards referees or match organizers, is intolerable under any circumstances.
CAF clarified that it is currently reviewing all footage from the match, and the matter will be referred to the appropriate authorities to take necessary actions against the offenders.
These statements come as part of CAF’s efforts to promote discipline and sportsmanship across all its competitions, reaffirming that respect for the rules and all elements of the game is a top priority.
