Gold and Silver Reach Record Highs

Gold and silver prices soared to unprecedented levels today, as investors flocked to safe-haven assets amid rising geopolitical tensions.

Gold surged 1.6 percent in spot trading to $4,670.01 per ounce, after reaching an all-time high of $4,689.39. Meanwhile, February futures rose 1.8 percent to $4,677.

Silver climbed 4.4 percent in spot trading to $93.85 per ounce after hitting a record level of $94.08. Platinum increased by 1.9 percent to $2,373.08, while palladium gained 0.5 percent to $1,809.
