Customs revenues exceed 100 billion dirhams

The General Treasury of the Kingdom reported that net customs revenues exceeded 100.7 billion dirhams by the end of December 2025, marking an increase of 9.1% compared to the same period last year.

The General Treasury, in its monthly report on public finance statistics for December 2025, clarified that these revenues, derived from customs duties, value-added tax on imports, and domestic consumption tax applied to energy products, take into account tax refunds, exemptions, and refundable amounts totaling 105 million dirhams.

The same source added that net revenues from customs duties reached 17 billion dirhams, representing a rise of 6.6%. Meanwhile, net revenues from the value-added tax on imports amounted to 63.25 billion dirhams by the end of December last year, showing an annual increase of 8.2%.

The value-added tax on energy products decreased by 3.9%, while the tax on other products rose by 10.6%.

Regarding revenues from the domestic consumption tax applied to energy products, they exceeded 20.47 billion dirhams (up 14.3%), taking into account tax refunds, exemptions, and refunds totaling 61 million dirhams by the end of December 2025.
