50 Million Barrels of Venezuelan Oil for America
On Tuesday, U.S. President Donald Trump announced that the Venezuelan interim government will deliver up to 50 million barrels of oil to the United States, with the proceeds being “under my management” as President.
Trump stated on his platform “Truth Social,” “The interim authorities in Venezuela will deliver to the United States between 30 and 50 million barrels of high-quality oil subject to sanctions.”
He added, “This oil will be sold at market prices, and I, as President of the United States, will manage the funds to ensure they are used for the benefit of the peoples of Venezuela and the United States.”
