The Pasha of Khouribga… An Official Who Boldly Confronted Mismanagement, Sparking Outrage Among Those Affected!

The Pasha of Khouribga… An Official Who Boldly Confronted Mismanagement, Sparking Outrage Among Those Affected!
A A

The Pasha of Khouribga: A Responsible Figure Who Faced Chaos with Courage, Igniting Outrage Among the Affected!

After the voices of the residents of the Al-Nahda neighborhood, particularly those around the model market and the streets of November 16 and Allal El Fassi, grew louder due to the concerning spread of street vendors, which led to chaos, overcrowding, and unbearable odors, the local authorities broke their silence. The Pasha of Khouribga took the initiative to listen—thoroughly—to the pulse of the community, acknowledging the extent of the daily suffering that had turned into a perpetual nightmare: piles of trash, rampant disorder, loud noises, and offensive language penetrating homes and reaching the ears of children and families.

In this charged atmosphere, the Pasha made a wise and brave decision to launch a practical campaign to restore the status quo, bring calm to the neighborhood, and put an end to the anarchy that had begun to threaten public tranquility. However, as is often the case in Khouribga, whenever the state takes action to enforce order and protect citizens, a group of “beneficiaries” emerges, used to thriving on the pain and suffering of others. This group feeds off chaos, survives on “connections,” and profits from the disorder created by illegal vendors. They could not accept that a responsible figure had simply decided to enforce the law.

Thus, attempts began to disrupt and retaliate against the Pasha, through disinformation campaigns and cheap allegations, led by certain “media and civil society” figures who had amassed dubious wealth over years of exploiting social work and its commerce. These individuals found in “virtual activism” a means to exert pressure and blackmail, and in disseminating falsehoods a way to maintain the privileges granted by disorder.

Yet, the truth is stronger than any noise: the Pasha of Khouribga did not err… he did what needed to be done. He fought chaos… so chaos lobbies fought back. He listened to the citizens… provoking those who wanted to silence them. He enforced the law… and anger erupted from those accustomed to “connections” and “favors.” Today, the residents of Khouribga have every right to raise their voices: Enough of exploiting social and media work for personal vendettas.

Enough of turning the suffering of citizens into a commodity.

And enough of attacking officials simply for choosing the path of the law. The Pasha has indeed proven, not merely through slogans, that he is a responsible figure, tasked with restoring the dignity of the law, protecting public tranquility, and responding to the genuine demands of the community. The forthcoming phase will reveal that what happened was merely the beginning of addressing the chaos that citizens have long tolerated.

In conclusion: those who combat chaos should not be fought; those who impose order should not be punished; and those who preserve the dignity of the residents deserve support… not scorn.
