The Moroccan national football team achieved a hard-fought victory over their Saudi counterparts with a score of 1-0 in the third round of the group stage of the Arab Cup currently taking place in Qatar.
The match, held at Lusail Stadium, showcased intense competition between both teams, with the Moroccan team managing to score in the 11th minute. The goal stood until the final whistle, despite numerous opportunities for both sides.
With this victory, Morocco increased their points tally to 7, while Saudi Arabia remained at 6 points, allowing both teams to qualify for the quarter-finals of the tournament.
In the next round, Morocco will face the Syrian team, the runner-up of Group A, while Saudi Arabia is set to meet Palestine.
