Treasury Department: Customs Revenues Reach 91.82 Billion Dirhams in November 2025, Up 9.8% Compared to Last Year
The net customs revenues of the Kingdom of Morocco have registered a significant increase, reaching approximately 91.82 billion dirhams by the end of November 2025, marking a 9.8% rise compared to the same period last year, according to the Treasury Department’s monthly report on public finance statistics.
The Treasury clarified that these revenues include customs duties, value-added tax on imports, and domestic consumption tax on energy products, accounting for refundable amounts, exemptions, and retrieved taxes that totaled 90 million dirhams.
The same source noted that net revenues from customs duties amounted to 15.397 billion dirhams, compared to 14.6 billion dirhams during the same period in 2024, representing an increase of 5.5%.
Meanwhile, the net revenues from value-added tax on imports reached 57.396 billion dirhams by the end of November 2025, compared to 52.855 billion dirhams in the previous year, reflecting an 8.6% increase. The value-added tax on energy products saw a decline of 2.6%, while the tax on other products increased by 10.8%.
Regarding the domestic consumption tax imposed on energy products, its revenues reached 19.027 billion dirhams compared to 16.201 billion dirhams, representing a 17.4% increase compared to the same period in 2024, accounting for deductions, exemptions, and refundable tax amounts of 56 million dirhams.
