M-AUTOMOTIV Launches SUV “Soueast S05” in Morocco to Enhance Its Offering in the Compact Car Segment
In a move to continue expanding its portfolio in Morocco, M-AUTOMOTIV Group has officially launched the Soueast S05 model, a compact SUV that reinforces the group’s multi-brand strategy in a market undergoing rapid transformation and increasing demand for technologically equipped and affordable vehicles.
The introduction of the Soueast S05 marks a new step in the group’s ascent within one of the most dynamic segments of the Moroccan market. It presents itself as a compact model with a clear design identity, blending modernity and practicality, in line with M-AUTOMOTIV’s direction towards diversifying its offerings to meet customer expectations.
The new model targets individuals seeking a modern, versatile, and digitally connected vehicle. Its exterior design balances elegance with a sporty flair, while the interior is equipped for intensive daily use.
Compact SUV for Urban and Semi-Urban Use
With dimensions of 4.39 meters in length, 1.84 meters in width, and 1.65 meters in height, along with a wheelbase of 2.60 meters, the Soueast S05 fits within the compact SUV category, ensuring balance between spaciousness, stability, and maneuverability in both urban environments and on the road.
The cabin features a digital driving system with a dual panoramic screen measuring 10.25 inches and a fully digital dashboard, along with an entertainment system compatible with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto wirelessly, complemented by the smart voice command system “Hi Soul Ease” for easier driver-vehicle interaction.
Advanced Equipment and Enhanced Comfort
The equipment level reflects Soueast’s ambition to provide a competitive offering in terms of technology for the price, including heated leather seats, an electrically adjustable driver’s seat, an electric panoramic sunroof, automatic air conditioning, and a keyless entry and ignition system.
The S05 also offers a comprehensive suite of safety and driver assistance systems, including a 360-degree three-dimensional camera, parking sensors, blind-spot detection, lane-change assistance, rear traffic alerts, as well as stability and traction control systems.
Efficient Engine and Balanced Performance
The model is powered by a 1.5-liter turbocharged gasoline engine producing 156 horsepower, linked to a six-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission, providing smooth driving suitable for city use and outings beyond the urban area. The system allows three driving modes: normal, economical, and sporty, to adjust performance according to the driver’s preferences.
Gradual Expansion of the Soueast Brand
The Soueast S05 joins the brand’s lineup, which includes the S06, S07, and S09, as part of a strategy aimed at establishing Soueast as a modern and competitive player in the Moroccan market, capable of meeting various needs and budgets.
For M-AUTOMOTIV Group, this launch is part of a broader vision to build a comprehensive portfolio of brands. The group’s general manager, Souhail Hemini, emphasizes that the new model reflects the group’s commitment to providing safe, modern, and accessible mobility solutions for a wide segment of Moroccans.
Clear Expansion Strategy
M-AUTOMOTIV Group was established in June 2023 through a partnership between Cap Holding and HS Gestion. In a short period, it has positioned itself as a key player in car distribution in Morocco, marketing brands such as Renault, Dacia, and Alpine, along with used cars through M-OCCAZ and an after-sales network.
Following successive partnerships with JAC Motors and Soueast, and the recent launch of the KGM brand, the group now operates 27 sales points and employs over 650 individuals, with a declared ambition to modernize and secure mobility solutions.
The Soueast S05 is currently available within the SOUEAST by M-AUTOMOTIV network, particularly in Casablanca and Rabat, as part of a new step to strengthen the brand’s presence in the national market.
