In the context of efforts by the Kenitra Security Directorate to combat brothels and dubious activities, the police station in Mehdiya managed to arrest a woman in her forties suspected of converting one of the residential apartments in a housing area into a “den” for prostitution.
According to informed sources, the operation resulted in the arrest of the woman while she was managing the activity, in addition to several girls and men found in the act.
The detainees were taken to the police station in Mehdiya for further investigation under the supervision of the relevant public prosecution, to uncover the circumstances of the case, identify potential links to a wider network, and determine the actions attributed to each individual.
This operation is part of an ongoing security strategy aimed at protecting public order and morals, as well as responding to citizen complaints. Investigations continue, with the assertion that the suspects remain innocent until proven guilty by a final judicial ruling.
