Khalid Zidan, the minister delegate to the Head of Government in charge of investment, coordination, and public policy evaluation, made an official visit to the LOGINTEK industrial and logistics zone to assess the progress of the recently established SEOUL factory in Morocco.

This visit is part of the ongoing promotional roadshow led by the minister to South Korea in November 2024, aimed at showcasing the Kingdom’s potential and reinforcing its position as a preferred investment destination. This mission has led to the development of tangible industrial projects, including the establishment of the SEOUL factory within LOGINTEK.

Upon the minister’s arrival, he was welcomed by Samir El Filali Chahad, the CEO of ZINAFRIK DEVELOPPEMENT, the project holder for LOGINTEK. The minister reviewed the conditions for the factory’s establishment, the progress of construction, and the project’s development prospects. Discussions included the pivotal role that integrated industrial zones play in enhancing territorial attractiveness and accelerating investment pace.

In this context, Mr. El Filali Chahad highlighted the importance of LOGINTEK in boosting Morocco’s appeal to international investors, while also acknowledging the role of the Regional Investment Center in supporting entrepreneurs and facilitating their project establishment procedures.

He confirmed that “LOGINTEK is designed as a comprehensive industrial, logistics, and technological platform, serving both national and international investors, currently hosting companies from various nationalities, reflecting Morocco’s status as a reference industrial and logistics hub.”

LOGINTEK is the first fully-integrated private industrial and logistics zone in Morocco, combining production infrastructure, logistics platforms, administrative services, and innovation-driven solutions all in one location.

Situated in the heart of the Casablanca-Settat region, the zone benefits from an exceptional strategic location, just 30 kilometers from Mohammed V International Airport and 50 kilometers from the Port of Casablanca. It is connected by a network of roads and a multimodal transport infrastructure, including the A7 motorway, National Road 9, as well as a railway line running alongside it from the north.

This multimodal accessibility ensures an efficient logistics chain at local, national, and international levels, contributing to reduced delivery times, improved costs, and enhanced competitiveness for businesses operating in the area.

LOGINTEK relies on an integrated model aimed at streamlining and accelerating industrial and logistical operations, which includes a dry port under customs supervision, a modern logistics area, an international TIR system space, and a technopole focused on innovation, in addition to a one-stop window that comprises customs, the National Office for Food Safety (ONSSA), banks, insurance companies, and transit service providers.

The zone also offers structural services, including a data center, a business center, a multidisciplinary clinic, a hotel, a shopping center, and a mosque, creating a conducive and integrated working environment for investors and employees alike.

In the medium term, LOGINTEK aims to create between 12,000 and 15,000 direct jobs and already hosts prominent industrialists from several countries, confirming its strategic role in the economic and industrial development of the Casablanca-Settat region.
