Huawei Morocco Enhances Its Cultural Presence with Official Partnership in the Twentieth Edition of the Atlantic Andalusian Festival in Essaouira

Huawei Morocco reaffirms its deep commitment to supporting culture and living heritage by participating as an official partner in the twentieth edition of the Atlantic Andalusian Festival, a prominent artistic event held in Essaouira, attended by a large audience from within and outside the kingdom.

This participation reflects the company’s vision to enhance community cohesion and highlight the appeal of local regions by valuing Morocco’s rich and diverse heritage.

In an atmosphere filled with cultural dialogue and openness, the festival showcased the diversity of Andalusian heritage and Jewish-Islamic music from the Maghreb, alongside popular arts and contemporary creations. This edition served as a true meeting point between generations, where young musicians met seasoned maestros, demonstrating the continuity of Moroccan artistic memory across religious and geographical borders, embodying the spirit of shared living.

The twentieth edition was marked by a rich artistic program that varied between major performances and intimate moments, including a presentation by young Andalusian musicians from various Moroccan cities under the supervision of Maestro Mohamed El Arrousi, as well as an evening celebrating Jewish voices in the Maghreb led by artist Maxim Karouci and his orchestra.

The audience also enjoyed a dance performance by Spanish artist Patricia Guerrero and the Andalusian flamenco ballet, before the events concluded with a special concert by Raimundo, who captivated the audience with her stunning performance.

As part of this partnership, Jason Chen, Vice President of Huawei Morocco, stated that supporting this festival goes beyond a celebratory aspect to solidify a commitment to shared values, saying:

“Our participation in the Atlantic Andalusian Festival is primarily a reflection of aligned values. This festival embodies a memory and a message based on mutual respect, principles that we highly regard. As an official partner, we see it as our duty to support cultural initiatives that foster closeness between peoples and preserve our shared heritage.”

This step aligns with the various projects that Huawei Morocco is involved in, whether in innovation, digital integration, or training, recognizing that technology only gains its true meaning when integrated into social, humanitarian, and cultural realities.

As the curtain falls on the twentieth edition of the festival, Huawei Morocco announces its continued support for cultural initiatives aimed at showcasing the richness of Moroccan heritage and promoting values of dialogue and coexistence. The company reiterates its readiness to collaborate with public institutions, local authorities, and civil society to support projects that respect cultural peculiarities and contribute to preserving artistic heritage for future generations.

Through this initiative, Huawei reinforces its belief that culture and technology are complementary pillars for building a more open and cohesive society. By supporting Moroccan heritage and encouraging projects that enhance coexistence, the company demonstrates its active role in promoting community unity and spreading values of diversity and openness.
