Eurostar Resumes Service
Eurostar announced on Wednesday the resumption of its train services between London and mainland Europe after a brief disruption due to a technical fault. However, it warned that further disruptions could occur.
In a statement on its website, Eurostar said, “We intend to operate all our services today, but due to the fallout from the fault, there may be some delays and last-minute cancellations.”
On Tuesday, many travelers were affected during this busy end-of-year period.
After noon on Tuesday, Eurostar announced a gradual resumption of its services but cautioned that “the power supply issue over the overhead lines is still ongoing” and advised all passengers to postpone their journeys.
