Agadir: Minor Arrested After Dangerous Video of Climbing on Urban Bus
The Agadir Security Authority reacted promptly and seriously to a video circulating on social media, which shows a group of minors climbing onto the roof of an urban bus—a reckless act that posed a real danger to their lives and the safety of road users.
Investigations and field research conducted by the security services, based on the video evidence, made it possible to identify one of the suspects in coordination with the National Directorate for Territorial Surveillance. He was subsequently arrested on Saturday, December 27, in the city of Inzegan.
The arrested minor, who is 17 years old, has been subjected to judicial procedures overseen by the competent public prosecutor, with investigations carried out by the judicial police in Inzegan aimed at uncovering the circumstances and details of the incident and determining responsibilities. Efforts continue to apprehend the other individuals involved.
This operation aligns with ongoing efforts by the National Security Directorate, in partnership with the National Directorate for Territorial Surveillance, to combat dangerous behaviors and digital content that threaten the safety and security of citizens, intervening immediately whenever lives are at risk.
