A Tragedy Shakes Asilah: A Mother Kills Her Four-Year-Old Daughter Under Shocking Circumstances
Asilah was left reeling this Saturday evening following devastating news that a woman had killed her four-year-old daughter inside the family’s home, an incident that has deepened sadness and shock within the community.
According to information obtained by the newspaper from private sources, the suspect, who is the victim’s mother in her forties and works as an administrator at a local middle school, allegedly strangled her daughter until she lost consciousness on the spot, under circumstances that are still under judicial investigation.
The same sources reported that immediately after committing the crime, the mother attempted to take her own life by cutting her wrist, necessitating her rapid transport to a local hospital in Asilah for urgent medical care and to place her under medical supervision.
In the same context, the child’s body has been transferred to the “Duc de Tovar” morgue for autopsy and legal proceedings as instructed by the relevant public prosecutor’s office.
