On the evening of November 10, 2025, the preliminary stage of the Moroccan national football team’s gathering began in preparation for their upcoming friendly matches against Mozambique and Uganda, scheduled for November 14 and 18 at the Grand Stadium of Tangier.
The first training session took place at the Mohammed VI Sports Complex in Maâmora, near Salé, with all players from the squad announced by coach Walid Regragui in attendance, as reported by various sources.
Sources indicated that the training session was marked by a clear sense of seriousness and discipline, with the coaching staff focusing on physical recovery exercises followed by ball technique drills. This was aimed at regaining rhythm and readiness ahead of the “intensive phases” of the training program.
The “Atlas Lions” continue their preparation program today, Tuesday, which marks the final stage before announcing the final squad for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations, set to take place in Morocco.
The federation confirmed that the two friendly matches present an important opportunity to test the official lineup, evaluate the players, and address some tactical aspects that the team will rely on in the continental competition.
