The government council approved the draft law related to civil procedures

The Government Council, on Thursday, November 27, 2025, in Rabat, approved draft law No. 58.25 concerning civil procedures during a session chaired by the government to discuss important draft laws.

According to the Moroccan News Agency, the draft law was presented by the Minister of Justice, highlighting its aim to develop judicial civil procedures and facilitate legal processes, thereby enhancing the effectiveness of the judicial system and ensuring the rights of the parties involved.

The adoption of this project comes as part of the government’s efforts to modernize the Moroccan legal framework and keep pace with judicial developments to ensure the swift resolution of civil cases and improve the services provided to citizens in the courts.

The next step is to present the project to Parliament for discussion and approval before it comes into effect, in accordance with the legal procedures in place.
