Workers of the cleaning services and their families celebrate the Green March in a joyful event in Kenitra
Yesterday evening, Kenitra hosted a celebration organized by the Mikomar company in honor of the 50th anniversary of the Green March, dedicated to honoring the cleaning workers and their families. The event took place at the El Cheny Tourist Complex hall, in partnership with the Social Works Association of the cleaning workers and in coordination with the Kenitra municipality.
The ceremony was attended by numerous cleaning workers and their families, along with company officials and association members, all in a patriotic atmosphere filled with pride and honor. This event served as an opportunity to appreciate the daily efforts made by these workers in maintaining the cleanliness of the city and improving its quality.
Mrs. Amina Harouza, the President of the Kenitra Municipality, attended the event and emphasized that such initiatives reflect a shared sense of responsibility towards the city and its residents, commending Mikomar’s role in supporting cleanliness programs and improving the working conditions of the workers.
Idris Jobanan, the head of the Social Works Association of the cleaning workers, was also honored for his continuous contributions to serving the workforce, while the Kenitra municipality presented a commemorative trophy to Mikomar for its ongoing support of environmental and developmental projects in the city.
The evening concluded with the sounds of national anthems, in an atmosphere of pride and belonging, celebrating the spirit of the Green March and the cleaning workers who embody its values in reality.
