Morocco Strengthens Its Regional Position in Technology Through Strategic Partnership with Keiretsu Forum MENA
Morocco has solidified its position in the regional technology landscape by signing a new strategic partnership between the Ministry of Digital Transition and Administrative Reform and Keiretsu Forum MENA, one of the largest private investor networks in the world, during a ceremony held in Rabat on November 19, 2025.
This agreement represents a significant boost for the national entrepreneurial ecosystem, allowing Moroccan startups to access a vast international network of investors, experts, and mentors, thus opening up broader horizons for funding, development, and growth.
Keiretsu Forum, which originated from California, is one of the leading global players in funding early-stage companies, boasting over 60 branches worldwide that include angel investors, venture capital funds, and institutional investors, along with specialized experts in entrepreneurial support. Its expansion in the Middle East and North Africa aims to connect emerging economies with international financing networks and skills.

The agreement signed in Rabat includes a range of practical mechanisms to support Moroccan startups, including:
First: Facilitating Connections Between Startups and International Investors
Entrepreneurs will have the opportunity to present their projects to investors from dozens of countries via structured, internationally recognized pitch platforms, expanding their chances of obtaining funding beyond the local market.
Second: Launching Post-Investment Empowerment and Mentorship Programs
Keiretsu Forum aims to engage its members in the growth journey of beneficiary companies by providing specialized mentors, expert committees, and targeted programs to support expansion, enhance governance, and facilitate entry into new markets.
Third: Establishing an Official Branch of Keiretsu Forum in Morocco
The creation of a local Chapter represents a pivotal step in ensuring a permanent presence of the network within the kingdom, contributing to the growth of Moroccan projects and connecting national investors with their international counterparts.
Reinforcing the Goals of “Morocco Digital 2030”
This partnership aligns with the strategic directions of “Morocco Digital 2030,” led by the digital transition sector, which aims to build a robust innovation ecosystem open to the world and capable of attracting investments and enhancing the competitiveness of startups.
The ministry asserts that this collaboration will contribute to improving access to financing, one of the key challenges facing startups, in addition to supporting the development of entrepreneurs’ skills and stimulating innovation fields, particularly in advanced sectors such as deep tech, fintech, greentech, and edtech, while enhancing the presence of the “Morocco Tech” brand both regionally and internationally.
