Hamouchi Hosts a Formal Dinner in Honor of Delegation Representatives Participating in the Interpol Conference in Marrakech

The Director General of National Security and Territorial Surveillance, Abdelatif Hammouchi, hosted an official dinner on the evening of Wednesday, November 26, 2025, in honor of representatives from the countries and international and regional organizations participating in the General Assembly of the International Criminal Police Organization “Interpol,” which is currently ongoing in Marrakech from November 24 to 27.

The historic Badi Palace was chosen to host the dinner, where the beauty of the venue and the warmth of Moroccan hospitality added an authentic touch to the event, allowing guests to experience a unique blend of Moroccan cultural and artistic diversity.

Present at the dinner were Abdelatif Hammouchi, the Director General of National Security and Territorial Surveillance; Dr. Ahmed Nasser al-Raisi, the President of Interpol; the organization’s Secretary General, Veldis Orekiza; members of the Executive Committee; and Dr. Muhammad bin Ali Koman, the Secretary General of the Council of Arab Interior Ministers.

From the Moroccan side, the event was attended by Interior Minister Abdelwahid Lafati, Minister of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation, and Moroccan Expatriates Nasser Bourita, Minister Delegate for Budget Fawzi Lekjaa, Chief of the Royal Gendarmerie Lieutenant General Mohamed Harmou, Director General of Studies and Documentation Mohamed Yassine Mansouri, and the Wali of Marrakech-Safi Adil Khatib.

More than 1,200 delegates from participating countries and organizations took part in this event, which featured musical and folkloric performances, including the Director General of the Spanish National Police, Francisco Pardo Bekeris, and ministers and police directors from Interpol member states.

A total of 16 folkloric troupes showcased various musical performances representing different cultural and artistic hues of Morocco, highlighting the richness and diversity of Moroccan heritage, and infusing the dinner with an atmosphere of joy and celebration of Morocco’s cultural identity.
