Four Young Men Arrested in Berrechid After Video of Attacks on Citizens’ Property Goes Viral
The security district of Berrechid reacted quickly to a video circulating on social media, showing a group of young men wielding knives, smashing cars, and vandalizing private property in one of the city’s neighborhoods.
Upon the video’s release, law enforcement began field investigations through the judicial police, which quickly enabled them to identify several suspects. This operation resulted in the arrest of four individuals suspected of direct involvement in the vandalism and theft depicted in the video.
According to security sources, the arrested individuals have been placed in police custody pending an investigation overseen by the competent public prosecutor’s office, to uncover all circumstances surrounding the incident and identify additional suspects for whom investigations are still underway.
