Fez-Meknes: The Regional Caravan Strengthens Support for Small and Medium Enterprises

More than 800 entrepreneurs and representatives of the entrepreneurship ecosystem in the Fez-Meknes region have benefited from the regional caravan to promote the support plan dedicated to very small, small, and medium-sized enterprises (TPME). This initiative is organized by the Regional Investment Center (CRI) of Fez-Meknes, as part of a tour aimed at bringing project holders closer to support mechanisms and assisting them in implementing their projects.

The caravan carried the slogan “Supporting Enterprises at the Heart of the National Investment Dynamic”, and visited several cities and regions including Fez, Moulay Yacoub, Boulemane, Sefrou, Ifrane, and Taza. Participants at each stop learned about the details of the new support plan for enterprises, including eligibility conditions, available grants, application procedures, and project monitoring mechanisms.

This plan, which stems from royal directives and the new investment charter, aims to stimulate private investment and highlight the economic potential of the region. It includes three types of grants: a grant for the creation of permanent job opportunities, a regional grant to enhance the attractiveness of areas, and a grant for priority activities directed towards promising sectors and future professions. The value of these grants can reach up to 30% of the eligible investment amount, with the possibility of combining them with other regional grants.

The Regional Investment Center emphasized the significant interest from investors in these measures, noting the strong turnout during the caravan’s stops. The caravan will continue its tour towards Meknes, El Hajeb, and Taounate, to further promote the development of small and medium enterprises and stimulate productive investment in the region.
