A fatal traffic accident occurred today on the national road connecting the cities of Sidi Slimane and Sidi Yahya el-Gharb, involving a collision between two vehicles designated for transporting employees. The incident resulted in one death and approximately 19 injuries, who were quickly transported to the regional hospital in Sidi Slimane for necessary medical treatment.
Upon learning of the accident, Idris Roubiou, the governor of Sidi Slimane province, immediately went to the scene accompanied by the head of internal affairs and the commander of the Qsiba district, to examine the details of the incident and assess the situation on the ground.
The governor also visited the regional hospital, accompanied by the mayor of Sidi Slimane, to check on the health status of the injured and to provide necessary support and assistance to them and their families.
