Kelaa des Sraghna: Yazidi Chairs Commemoration of the 50th Anniversary of the Green March in Majestic Atmosphere

This morning, the square of the Kelaa des Sraghna Province witnessed a remarkable celebration marking the 50th anniversary of the glorious Green March. Mr. Samir Yazidi, the provincial governor, presided over the national flag-raising ceremony, a symbolic moment that embodies the deep sense of national belonging and pride of Moroccans in their glorious history.

The ceremony began with a performance by the honor guard of the Auxiliary Forces saluting the flag, followed by the national flag being raised vigorously to the tunes of the national anthem, resonating in a scene that illustrated citizens’ unity with the symbols of national sovereignty.

After this symbolic moment, the governor oversaw the awarding of several individuals with royal honors in recognition of their commitment and dedication to serving their duties and the nation across various fields.

This event, reflecting the spirit of loyalty to the Green March as a pivotal moment in Morocco’s history, was attended by several civil and military figures, including Mr. Mohammed Habib, the secretary-general of the province, Rezwane Zarhouni, head of the internal affairs department, and Rashid Marroufi, the city’s mayor, along with numerous elected officials, heads of external departments, civil society activists, and representatives from various institutions.
