Agadir Enhances Its Security Infrastructure with the Opening of the Command and Coordination Center on the Occasion of Independence Day
Agadir witnessed a significant step in modernizing its police structures and enhancing intervention capabilities during the celebrations commemorating Independence Day. This was marked by the inauguration of the Command and Coordination Center under the Regional Security Directorate of Agadir. This project reflects a strategic vision aimed at developing emergency police mechanisms and improving traffic safety management within the urban area.
The new center represents an integrated security structure that utilizes the latest technologies, equipped with an advanced system of high-definition digital cameras distributed across various axes and main streets of the city. This system aims to enhance urban surveillance, allowing for the monitoring of suspicious movements, rapid intervention in emergencies, and tracking situations related to traffic flow.
The Command and Coordination Center seeks to increase the readiness of security teams by improving the methods used to receive and process citizens’ calls, whether through emergency lines or through newly established digital systems.
