Emergency Medical Transfer of Pregnant Woman from Guelmim to Marrakech University Hospital
In a swift and secure response to critical health situations, the Ministry of Health and Social Protection mobilized a medically equipped aircraft on Monday, October 13, 2025, to transport a pregnant woman in delicate health from the regional hospital in Guelmim to the University Hospital Center in Marrakech for specialized medical care.
This operation was carried out with meticulous coordination between regional and local services, the emergency medical services, and medical coordination (SAMU), accompanied by a specialized medical and nursing team. The patient was transported under safe conditions in compliance with medical standards, arriving at her destination in stable condition.
This operation is part of the ongoing efforts by the Ministry of Health and Social Protection to enhance emergency care services and ensure the readiness of the health transport system, both ground and air, reinforcing the right to access safe, equitable, and advanced healthcare services for all citizens.
