Tragic Incident in the Ouled Issa Municipality Claims Two Lives and Leaves Several Injured
Two individuals lost their lives, and seven others sustained varying degrees of injuries last night in a horrific traffic accident in the Ouled Issa region of El Jadida. The incident occurred as a result of a violent collision between a truck and a light pickup vehicle, which was carrying a group of people returning from a wedding celebration in the area.
According to local sources, the impact was so severe that it nearly completely destroyed the vehicle, resulting in the immediate death of two passengers. The seven injured individuals were transported to the regional hospital in El Jadida, where four of the cases have been described as critical, requiring urgent medical attention.
Upon being notified of the accident, members of the gendarmerie, civil protection, and local authorities rushed to the scene to manage traffic and secure the area. An investigation was launched by the relevant public prosecutor’s office to ascertain the circumstances and true causes of the incident.
