Three Detained in Kenitra Court for Printing Inciting Slogans on Moroccan National Team Shirts

On Monday, October 6, security authorities in Kenitra presented three individuals to the public prosecutor after their involvement in printing and displaying illegal slogans on the national team’s shirts, actions that judicial sources describe as misdemeanors impacting public order.

The accused include two master’s students and a print shop owner who printed politically charged and inciting phrases on the shirts of the Moroccan national team. They were arrested by security forces while in Mohammed V Street in Rabat.

After being formally questioned, they were brought before the public prosecutor at the Kenitra court, which decided to pursue charges against them while in custody given the seriousness of their actions, particularly the misuse of national symbols in unlawful contexts.

This action is part of the enforcement of the law and the protection of the national jersey’s symbolism from any political or inciting exploitation, with authorities emphasizing their commitment to combat any actions that could harm public order or misuse national symbols outside their sporting context.
