Princess Lalla Meryem presides over a religious ceremony commemorating the 27th anniversary of the death of King Hassan II

Today, Thursday, Her Royal Highness Princess Lalla Meryem presided over a religious ceremony at the Sunnah Mosque in the capital city, Rabat, to mark the 27th anniversary of the passing of His Late Majesty King Hassan II, may his soul rest in peace.
The religious event, characterized by a spirit of reverence and supplication, featured the recitation of verses from the Holy Quran, followed by melodies of praises dedicated to the Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him.
On this blessed occasion, prayers were raised to Almighty God to embrace King Hassan II and His Late Majesty King Mohammed V in His vast mercy and grant them eternal rest for their tremendous services to the nation.
Participants also prayed to God to protect the Commander of the Faithful, His Majesty King Mohammed VI, granting him continued health and well-being, and to guide him towards what is best for the country and its citizens. They asked for God to bring joy to His Majesty with his heir, His Royal Highness Prince Moulay Hassan, and to support him with his brother, His Royal Highness Prince Moulay Rachid, along with all members of the honorable royal family.
This ceremony was attended by a number of prominent women from various civilian and military sectors.
