Orange Morocco Launches “Live Intelligence” Generative AI Platform to Enhance the Kingdom’s Digital Sovereignty
Orange Morocco, in partnership with Orange Business, has announced the launch of its new generative AI platform “Live Intelligence,” aimed at Moroccan businesses and administrations, during a ceremony held in the capital, Rabat.
The initiative was presented in the presence of Amlah Flah Shakrshni, the Minister Delegate in Charge of Digital Transition and Administrative Reform, as part of the implementation of the “Digital Morocco 2030” strategy, which aims to position the Kingdom as a key player in the digital economy at both regional and continental levels.
A “Made in Morocco” Solution for Safe AI Use
The platform was developed by the Data and AI Competence Center of Orange Business, based in Rabat, and relies on a team of over 1,100 employees, including 500 engineers specialized in data, cloud computing, and cybersecurity, spread across Casablanca and Rabat.
The platform is available as a Software as a Service (SaaS) and integrates seamlessly with the digital tools used within companies. It allows for the creation and sharing of automated assistants through a multi-language model architecture. This move aims to reduce reliance on unmonitored external AI solutions, known as “shadow AI,” which pose risks to data security.
The platform offers three levels of integration according to the digital maturity of each organization, facilitating a smooth transition to the safe and responsible use of AI.
National Ambition to Make AI Accessible to All
Hendrik Castel, General Manager of Orange Morocco, stated that the goal of this initiative is to “make AI available to all Moroccan companies and enable Morocco to position itself as a regional hub for digital innovation.”
The launch of this platform comes at a time when the Kingdom is accelerating its digitization efforts, with an increasing drive from Moroccan institutions to enhance their technological sovereignty.
A Comprehensive Vision and Continuous Support
In addition to technological innovation, Orange Morocco aims for a comprehensive support approach that includes training, data governance, and the establishment of a culture of innovation within organizations. With 25 years of experience serving the national economic framework, the company seeks to play a pivotal role in Morocco’s digital transformation.
With the launch of “Live Intelligence,” Orange Morocco reaffirms its commitment to supporting a sovereign, secure, and inclusive digital transformation that enhances the competitiveness of Moroccan companies and contributes to building a knowledge-based national economy.
