The draft of the 2026 Finance Law reveals that Morocco’s total budget has surpassed 761 billion dirhams, marking an increase of 5.54% compared to 2024. The budget allocates 527.65 billion dirhams for the general budget, 167.49 billion dirhams for special treasury accounts, and 64.17 billion dirhams for open credits to cover operational and investment expenses.

The project indicates that operational expenditures have risen to 347.49 billion dirhams, while investment expenditures amount to 136.11 billion dirhams. The service costs of public debt reach 93.67 billion dirhams. The total allocated credits for investment amount to 228.61 billion dirhams after adding commitment appropriations and carryover credits.

These figures confirm the government’s commitment to strengthening operational and investment expenditures while managing public debt, supporting various economic sectors, and staying in tune with national developments.
