Launch of the Moroccan-Swiss Partnership Program for 2025-2028 in Rabat
The Moroccan-Swiss Partnership Program for the period 2025-2028 was officially launched today in Rabat, in the presence of the Minister of Industry and Trade Ryad Mezzour, the Swiss Ambassador to Morocco Valentin Zellweger, and Françoise Salami-Giacs, Head of Cooperation and Economic Development at the Swiss Embassy, along with Philippe Orga, Head of Operations at the State Secretariat for Economic Affairs of Switzerland.
In his speech, Minister Ryad Mezzour emphasized the significance of this program, which embodies a strategic partnership based on innovation, sustainability, and a forward-looking vision. He affirmed that Morocco, as a reliable partner for Switzerland, offers an attractive investment climate rooted in competitiveness, with the private sector serving as a key driver of development.
Mezzour noted that this new phase of cooperation is structurally distinctive, reflecting the mutual desire of both countries to establish a permanent strategic cooperation framework and create effective synergy that enables the transformation of economic challenges into promising opportunities for joint growth.
The minister also highlighted the strength of national industry and Morocco’s economic resilience amidst global crises, stating that Switzerland can fully benefit from Morocco’s economic dynamism and regional leadership within the African continent.
