King Mohammed VI received both Rachid Talbi Alami, Speaker of the House of Representatives, and Mohamed Lahbabi, President of the House of Councillors, today, on the occasion of the opening of the first session of the fifth legislative year of the eleventh legislative term.
During this reception, the Speaker of the House of Representatives presented to His Majesty the King the achievements of the council for the legislative year 2024-2025, alongside a collection of publications documenting the various activities of the legislative institution.
The President of the House of Councillors also presented to His Majesty the King a number of publications that include the council’s achievements for the same legislative year, detailing the legislative and oversight initiatives accomplished during that time.
Following this, King Mohammed VI presided over an official reception in honor of the members of Parliament from both houses, a tradition that symbolizes His Majesty’s esteemed attention towards the legislative institution and its constitutional roles in serving the nation and its citizens, as well as supporting the path of reform and development in the Kingdom.
