FIFA Invites Media Representatives to Cover the 2026 World Cup Draw

FIFA has invited representatives of media outlets interested in covering the final draw for the 2026 FIFA World Cup™ to submit their applications before the deadline of November 5.

The draw ceremony will be held at the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts on Friday, December 5, 2025, starting at 12 PM local time (6 PM Central European Time).

Additionally, the official media program will organize a global press briefing about the tournament at the REACH facility on the same day, December 4, at 3 PM, to provide essential information regarding media operations and services, including procedures for obtaining media credentials related to the tournament.

Obtaining a media credential from FIFA will allow access to the media center at the REACH facility on draw day. However, access to certain other media areas will be restricted due to limited capacity, and presence inside the draw hall will be limited to photography zones, while others will be able to follow the event via live broadcast inside the media center.

The media hotel will offer special rates for credentialed media representatives, with ticket issuance occurring shortly before the event through the media platform (FIFA Media Hub) and the FIFA Media App.

Those wishing to apply for credentials must have a valid account on the media platform, and media organizations that do not have an account can create one via the link: media.FIFA.com/registration.

All applications will be reviewed, and successful applicants will be notified via email with further details provided later.
