Tangier – The Tangier-Tetouan-Al Hoceima Prefecture has confirmed that the correspondence circulating on social media, attributed to the region’s Governor and discussing security arrangements in the town of M’diq, is a forged document with no basis in truth.
The prefecture emphasized that its services did not issue any communication regarding this matter, asserting that the spread of such false news aims to mislead public opinion.
The prefecture urged citizens to verify the sources of news and to refrain from being swayed by misleading content promoted across digital platforms.
